Has anyone bought a scooter from this online dealer? I think they are blowing a lot of smoke with their free warranty and special shipping. I'm really suspicious of this type of advertising on the net. What do you guys think? Also, how is the quality of the Roketa 150cc Aruba they are selling? Seems like people on this forum rate it fairly low? motorcycles-wholesale.com/

With a decent PDI, most scooters can be good ones. Make sure they have them in stock, or risk waiting until the end of riding season to get one. Call around your area to cycle repair places and find out if the shop will work on this scooter if you are not willing. I've never heard of them but I'm willing to give a chance if no one else has had horrible issues.

What they're calling an Aruba is technically a Fiji. They are almost identical. The Fiji is an MC-04 The Aruba is MC-23. My avatar is a picture of the Aruba. The only real difference is the headlights. I have the MC-23 Aruba, and it has projector headlights.
As far as quality goes, mine has 350 miles or so, and it's never even hiccuped. I know that's not many miles, but the initial quality has been super. It did have dealer PDI done to it, but I haven't done anything but change oil and gear oil. Don't know how much you know about scooters, but all Roketas are not created equal. They can be made in any of several different factories. Mine was made by Unique Industrial for Roketa.
I think there's places that are selling that bike for about $1199 if you look around. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one if you are handy.

Run as FAST as you can from this company, If I wrote eveything I through to get my money back from this place, there wouldn't be any room left in this forum for another post. Let's just say NIGHTMARE! I'm just glad the deal never went through, if you want to deal with a respectable dealer, I suggest evosales.com if you can find the scooter you want. If you want to read about motorcycles-wholesale.com, check out www.ripoffreport.com. and you'll be AMAZED! The owner operates out of New Zealand and the scooters are shipped by rabbitscooters.com

"Motor Cycles Wholesale"
Better Business Bureau lists their address as 2041 South Turner Avenue, Ontario, CA..owner of the company Gorden Whittit.
Better business bureau first opened a file on May 14th, 2008...Gordon has managed to get himself to a 'D' rating in less than 60 days, considering the rest of his business interests have an 'F' rating one has to one why he bothers changing company names.

Just because that's what's listed on the BBB doesn't mean its right. That just means both have shipped bikes from that warehouse.
