New to the site and the world of scooters. I don't own a scooter (yet) Just putting in my time to research before buying one of the cheap end scooters. So any input or advice is always welcome! I'm debating on either getting a Lance Touring or Vog260. Leaning more toward the Lance as we have an authorized dealer in the Atlanta area so if I get in over my head and need to take it in I can. But they also claim to work on all other chinese scooters as long as they can get their hands on the parts.
Ok update: went with the Lance since we have an authorized dealer in the atlanta area so I know I can get it serviced if need be. However I purchased it online from MTS because their price was about $500 cheaper. Hope it's worth the savings.

Say andriyaa, welcome to the Dawg Pound!
I've heard bunches lately that Lance aren't drop shipped anymore. How did you pull off buying one online??? I got my scoot from a local dealer and the one and only problem I had in almost 1000 km so far he fixed immediately free of charge. A good dealer is a really cool thing!

Hi Andriyaa,
I' in GA as well and just bought a Lance vintage from a lady in SC who was moving. It does not have but 40 miles on it and I'm new to the scooter thing, but now I am having throttle problems..who is the dealer in ATL that will work on them? I would really appriciate any help...I am excited and want to get her fixed. Thanks, rubyred.

I purchased my Lance from MTS they sell online and are B&M so the scooter is shipped to them then they inspect it and have it shipped out to me. I'm still waiting on the scooter however and recently there have been a mass of bad posting regarding them. Hopefully I will have better luck and I will get it next week as they informed me in a recent email. Rubyred there are two in the atlanta area that I know of. ATLscooters.com they actually sell lance scooters in their store (but at a higher price than online of course) and service them as well. The other one is scooter-steve.com who claims to work on all types of scooters including chinese made. I havent used either as I am still waiting to get mine still. There are a couple others but being that your in athens they are alot further I believe. You can always check Lance website for dealers as well. lancepowersports.com
