Anyone ever heard this before: Quote: " WE SELL ONLY 1ST RUN PRODUCTS Not all Chinese made Products are equal. (Whether it be Adult, Teen, Youth, or Kid ATVs, Dirt Bikes, Mopeds, Scooters, or Motorcycles) There are 3 degrees, or "runs" of production on these units. Basically there's first shift, second shift, and third shift workers. The first shift, or "1st run" units are built by the most skilled workers. They have worked for the factories the longest, resulting in a very low number of defects because of the attention to detail. These "1st Run" units are sent to the companies who do the largest importing volume of these products, there is more quality control over the parts that go into the units, better carburetors, starters, coils, electrical parts, thicker grade of steel in the frame, better weld points etc… More volume = More Quality Control (We only deal with these large importers) " end quote Full explanation of runs here www.bigtimeatv.com/ . I am curious if these people are just trying to justify their higher price? He appears to have Sunl and Rocketa in addition to possibly some other brands, I have never seen another dealer make these statements.

Sounds like BS to me, but what do I know, I don't live in China.

I read that on a sight also, not impressed with the first shift, second shift, third shift comparison...... I work third shift. Seems to me they run the potential of offending a lot of people with statements like that. Intersting choice for a sales pitch....

Most of the drop shippers don't even know where the scoots are made. How on earth would they know what shift produced them? They would need lot control by shift to determine that. Their claim smells like something I stepped in the other day...
