I will keep you up to date on my experience with Powersportsmax.com My order was placed on 6-27-08. I did a lot of research first even as far as to google earth the address to see what is a very large warehouse with many trailers lined up , I did several "test calls" to their Service phone line and always reached a real person, very courteous etc. My fingers are crossed, I did use my credit card so I have some leverage if something goes bad. Thats it.

Sounds great! Be sure to let us know how it works out. I'm looking for who I'm going to order mine from. DO you have any idea if its going to be a Linhai or Honda engine?

It's SUPPOSED to be the Linhai motor, but let us know if you get something different, I'll add you to the victims in my "ordered a B, didn't get a B" thread...good luck.

When I ordered, thanks to all the other posts that I read about getting the wrong engine and Windshield, On the order form in the comments area i stated that they had to ensure what i get is the Yamaha style engine and the 20 inch wind shield. They quoted 3-4 week delivery, I'm not in a hurry I have 2 other Bikes to sell to make room.

i see no evidence anywhere that there is a difference in the windshields between the B and non B... where is this info coming from?

Yeah you got me there, biggest obvious difference is the motors and wheelbase. I'm not aware of a windshield difference, unless this dealer gets them custom that way or something.

Some place in all these hundreds of posts I thought someone had received a scooter with the wrong engine and wrong windshield, but this does all get confusing. In any case I put in writing on my order to send the bike as ordered. I really after second thought wish I had ordered the Honda version, as i believe Rich said it is easier to work on, my other 2 bikes have the vertical engine and I can adjust the valve clearance fairly easy. When looking at the Yamaha version the lower Valve cover and clearance adjustment will probably require me to lay on my back. UGH-OUCH, Hip and Knee replacement will make that project fun.

I think there's certain things that are easier to work on for one, and vice-versa.
