I've been doing some hunting for a armor lined jacket, I want to be on the safe side and have been looking at www.kneedraggers.com/details/Cortech_GX_Sport_Series_2_Textile_Jacket--622510.html The GX 2 from Cortech, anyone have any experience with these? I also picked up a HJC helmet over the weekend. Got a Lance 150 GSR coming in, is this overkill? After seeing some of the aftermath of some spills, I'm tending to think not. Thanks

I just added mesh Summer riding gloves and a Joe Rocket mesh Summer jacket w/armor. No, it really isn't overkill if you want your flesh to stay attached to your bones! Same goes for armored riding pants.

theg: First congrats on the GSR! The summer riding jacket with protection is in no way overkill. The Tour Master Air Jacket is a great choice, although pricey. Two different liners, lots of cargo pockets, well armoured, and with reflectors. Mesh summer riding gloves were a good suggestion too. Tom
