Artist, working p/t at Smith with a 3 mile commute. Thinking about buying a 50cc - is there any reputable place selling online? Been reading (and getting more nervous the more I read about buying online) but the local dealer has nothing under $1400. Appreciate any advice. Piper

Piper you are unlikely to find anything under $1400 from a dealer. There just isn't any more room in the price if the dealer is to make anything at all. Scooter prices are going up not down due to demand. Even used scoots are going for what they were bought for in many cases. Any online dealer you order from right now is likely back ordered. This leads to the numerous "this dealer sucks" posts as they simply can't get the products in a timely fashion.

Thanks. I kinda figured as much. Hey, you're in Rockland - I love that place! Esp. Miranda's...haven't been for awhile but I spend a lot of time in Waterville/Belgrade Lakes area...

Check out ScooterDynasty.com, specifically the Lance brand. I've been very happy with the service they have provided and it also helps they also have an actual storefront several members here have visited.
