I was just wondering how to get a person on the phone from this place. I have called 3 different phone numbers that they have posted, but can not get ahold of these people. I am waiting for an order I placed and it has been several days since I placed my order, yet it has not been shipped, but I have been charged. Thanks all.

kalekendel, From my experience, as well as a lot of other members here, scootertronics is one of the really good outfits. You are not alone in having little luck with getting anyone on the phone there! That happens with this company (and a whole lot of others as well)! That is not an excuse, but it is not unique for you! This is the absolute heart of the scooter busy season, and I am sure that has a good deal to contribute to the problem. All I can suggest is to use email, that gets responded to relatively fast, meaning maybe a day or two. Again, I am not defending the lack of communication, it is the one really aggravating thing with them at times. I think you can rest easier if you hear form someone that has done business with them. Michael and the guys at scootertronics are as honest and fair dealing as anyone in the business. I am sure that you will be taken care of by them in whatever business you have with them. I know this doesn't get you any closer to getting your order to you, but don't panic! A lot of us deal with this frustration. Personally I see it as a nasty nuisance I am willing to tolerate as I have learned not to worry about their integrity! ;D

kalekendel,
I too am waiting for an order from Scootertronics. I ordered a Vog 260 Scoot on the 16th. They said it would take 2 weeks to deliver. I asked them when they would charge my charge card. They told me right away. I did receive an email acknowledging the purchase. Don't be concerened, because others have experienced the same thing and their orders have come through around the time promised, sometimes with just a call from the trucking co. wanting to deliver.

i bought my scooter from there and untill they had my money and i had my scoot they were very friendly and helpful. afterwards they rarely replied and were anything but friendly. my seat had some discoloring and my fuel sending unit leaked gas so i wanted replacements for them. i didnt think it was an unrealistic thing since i gave them 1400$ of my hard earned money. but we went back and forth for literally months shipping the sending unit back and forth sending the wrong replacement and one hassel after another while the scoot sat unable to be used. the seat was never corrected and while that bothers me its atleast not a safety issue.
so your not alone in your suffering. they may be one of the better retailers but they arent great of a company in general

I got my VOG 16 days after paying for it immediately the temperature gage maxed way past the hat mark. I'm still waiting for the gage and sensor. I can't ride the thing not knowing the temperature since it leaks coolant from the over flow connection . I have it apart scattered around, piddling around. It has been over a month now and I don't know if I can maintain my cool on the phone. On their site they say that email correspondence gets priority response, and that isn't happening either.

I bought my scooter from Michael at Scootertronics at the end of April. Since I had work done to it, it arrived in pristine condition 3 weeks later. He was at that time 7 scooters behind before he could work on mine. This was before the big crunch. I had the normal newbie questions and apprehensions about ordering on line. Michael answered my emails within a day or two and told me when I talked to him on the phone that email was best because if he is in the shop he cannot hear or get to the phone. Since having my scooter I've had a couple of questions and knowing that Michael is busy I had to be paitient but the longest I waited for an answer was 3 days and he answered on a Sunday. He may be hard to get a hold of but I am sure he is doing the best he can given the issues with supply and demand. My brother ordered last week and was told it would be til the end of the month before the scooters even get in. I told him if he is lucky he'll have his scooter in 5 weeks given the mods he wants.
In the end it ends up being what I've said before. It is like waiting at Dairy Queen on a HOT summer day. Ya just got to be paitient and wait in line.

Well mine wasn't pristine on arrival. The only time they ever answered an email from me was prior to the purchase. I have spoken to them twice and it has been 42 days that I have being patient. Did you ever have to wait that long at DQ for anything . I'd like to be able to go for a ride and the parts I need were to be sent a month ago. I am not a happy camper.
