Ok, so this is kinda odd, but after receiving my scoot, I am left with a fair amount of angle iron from the shipping frame and I can't help wanting to do something with it. Of course something scooter related would be especially fun.
So I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas or actual projects they have done with this material. Just curious about it. I have thought about a custom rack for carrying certain items, or maybe even a small trailer for cargo. Granted, this is not the heaviest or best steel out there, but I feel like I just gotta do something with it.
Any ideas?

Not scooter related, but my co-worker is gonna use my angle iron to build mole traps.

You can make a ramp to get your scoot into the back of your truck.

Perhaps you could build a mini winter storage garage.

I give it to a friend who does metal sculpture. Saw a workbench frame made from a crate.

Great ideas, all. Love the wheelie bar though, that made me laugh! I do like the wheel chock thing, I considered that one.

Ha, fun topic. I just donated both of mine to the dumpster behind the liquor store.

The crappy steel in my crate would`ve made a good boat anchor at best.

How about a cow catcher? (the triangle thing on the front of old steam locomotives)

And yes, I was SERIOUSLY thinking about a catapult, that's what me and my friends do ;D we just got through with our 3rd design potato cannon and you all saw what we did with the legos and fireworks ;D (if not, it's called 'legos go boom' in the jokes section). LOL, Lego my potato...
I wanted to use mine for some kind of creepy SAW device... But I was afraid I might cut myself, and need a tetanus shot! (That was a joke... Red rusty iron cage... fear of being hurt... LOL.)
Hmmm...
If I had a blow-torch, I could have made a lift-ramp. The thick lower frame could easily fit a long sheet of diamond-plate, to make a truck-ramp, with a wheel-mount to secure it in a truck-bed. (Now all I need is a truck!)
Unfortunately, my neighbor stole it, and used it to make a tool-rack, shelf system. It also holds all of his fishing poles that he makes. (Now he looks like the creepy SAW guy... I'll listen for creepy screams from his torture dungeon. So far, no screams from the barred windows!)
Even his mother, who looks quite well for her old age, is a little creepy and pale. Come to think of it... I never even heard her say much... Never see her move much either... Must be all the stuffed animals laying around the house, that keep her quiet. Though, once I thought I heard her say, "Come here Norman. You've been a bad boy!"
Hehe... (Twisted laugh.)
Seriously though... I am waiting for someone to do the whole A-Team thing, with the cage, on their scooter. Just for fun, or to say that they did it.
Post pics, I want to see them!
