You can start; rev the bike twice, start again, and rev and go!

What would you benefit from removing it anyway?

When I cover the whole the bike throttles up lol.
When you are in a parking lot and trying to back out, the bike won't try and scoot forward. Also when you use the electric start the bike doesn't drive off on it's own and almost run into a wall like it almost did lol.
i really need to know if this is harmful to the bike?. thanks.

If you take the enricher off and cover just the hole it is just as if the enricher is feeding extra fuel. So that is why it revs up it is getting more fuel. Look at your carb and see if there are TWO SCREWS holding the ENRICHER HOLDER(NOT THE ENRICHER) ONTO THE CARB. If it has two screws holding the plate onto the carb I can tell you how to deactivate it.
Or better yet put up a picture of your carb on the side of the ENRICHER. Lefty

i think your idle and or air/fuel is not properly adjusted. when right even the slightly higher revs from the enricher should not engage the clutch. i have no probs in that area be it 90f this past summer or recently 22f. it always has just a bit of extra revs for about a minute then drops. i don't use the center stand and always walk away to let it warm up.

If you set the enricher right you can leave it in, just disconnect the electric cables. If you look at this video it might help you bit if you have a smiliar enricher: scooterdoctors.egetforum.se/guide-justera-en-automatchoke-t336.htmlYou can see the guy turning the bottom black part of the enricher. In the direction he turns it would give more fuel, you should turn it the other way so that the needle comes out further. That stops the carb from getting fuel through the enricher...

That sure is a nice ENRICHER wish we could get them but unfortunately you will not find an adjustable Enricher on a China scoot or aftermarket carbs. Even the Kehin carbs do not come with an Adjustable Enricher, the ones on the carbs are made out of 1 piece mold. Lefty

My carburetor is a OKO flatside with a manual choke. In the morning i usually need to open the choke to start the scooter.

Might be I certainly wouldn't do this when a high idle can be fixed with a thumb screw. If you like though I imagine you will keep it that way. It's your bike. Only one thing to think about, does it rain were you live?

you can't just take it off and be done. you need to plug it, with say a fairly stiff (partially set) ball of the stick style epoxy that you cut and blend with your fingers. with out doing this you will leak fuel and run lean at the same. also, as i said before, the enricher isn't your problem. people have done this and it doesn't hurt but unless you live in the tropics the enricher is there for a reason and does work. proper adjustments will relieve you of your problem. but hey, why fix the cause when you can bandaid the symptom.

We filled ours with High Strength Epoxy. Filled the bottom portion of the enricher(the fart that bolts to the carb itself). It has been idling fine ever since

Due to the nature of the CVT on an automatic scooter, I never use the side stand, only the center stand so that it cannot try to ride off on its own upon start-up. Besides backing out after start-up, I always back in, so I'll be riding out forward. Same in the cage.
I have had a back in where it was a little up hill and the CVT made it more difficult, so I cut the motor.
