can someone plz tell me or share a pic of where the air/fuel mixture screw is on the carb of 2012 taotao 50cc has the 1p39qmb motor and heard they have a cap on screw but you can drill the cap and get to it, any help is appreciated

i dont have a pic BUT
if your sorta positioned so your sitting on the scoot
and the carb is below you
it should be on the left side , down near the bottom
like you said yours prob has a cap on it.
all newer models do
find it?

Get a new carb off ebay for 24 bucks they work just fine, mine didn't have an adjuster under the cap. There's also no screws on float bowl, all this can be dremeled and drilled out, but is it worth it when carbs are 24 bucks.

what kind of scoot do you have? (goto taotao.us, and let us know your model number).
I know on the CY50 scoots, you gotta peel some plastic, before you can reach it.
On the ATM50, you can just open the underseat trunk, and open the little hatch on the bottom (one screw), and you'll be looking straight at it (the carb).

No "plastic peeling" to get to the carb to adjust on my cy50a , you must be thinking about the cy150

Fairly sure I read a review of someone saying the CY50 does not have the latch on the bottom of the seat compartment.

Good to know!
On my EVO150, the latch actually opens to the top of the CVT, and the air hose (from air filter to carb).
IOW, Pretty useless...
