Hey all, so I changed out to a 1.5k torque spring and must say very nice improvement, gained 5mph on a hill i would normally slow down to 25mph on and like the fact it stays in a lower gear a little longer. But while its in that lower gear range it is revving way past the redline. it revs to 8500rpm then at 20mph it "shifts" and drops down to 7500rpm and accelerates nicely to 30mph. Now its definitely revving over the power band because i can physically feel it just making noise at 8500 and not that pull that you feel at 7500. The stock roller weights are 7 grams when they were new (700 miles ago) and I am on the heavy side (240lbs) I would be wanting it to sit at 7500rpms correct? for peak hp? so i need to lower it 1k rpms so at 20 and under it isn't screaming? or would that drop it really low when it shifts? Should i aim to drop it to 8k on take off so it would sit at 7k when it shifts? cuz when i'm going 40mph gps its sitting at 8k-8.2k. its not so much this i'm worried about its more the over revving down low when i need the acceleration. I was thinking to go for 9gram sliders? does this sound about right to everyone? or 8 grams?
Oh, footnote, I marked my front variator and the is approximately 3/16 of an inch on the outside of the pulley that the belt is not riding in, no restrictions of any kind on this bike.

With stiffer springs heavier weights follow . May take a few sizes to test out with

does the with every gram of weight increase, you drop 200rpms guideline still apply to stiffer torque springs? and she's still a 50cc so...

You have 6 weights of x amount . now you can mix 5g and 6g to equal 5.5g for example . Dr Pulley sliders work way better than rollers

From stock torque spring to 1.5k spring, it was 2 gram difference for me, I had to go up two grams on the weights from the stock spring.
