Installed my kit at home about 600 miles ago, and have barely had to go WOT for quite some time, but just recently I have been riding about 15 miles in one direction only about 2 times a day. With this I have been finding it necessary to go WOT. Anyway just recently I have noticed a quite annoying "ping" or knocking noise that comes from around the head, but it also sounds like it is internal, AKA Possible crank bearings, but I've had crank bearings go before and they were MUCH louder then this. Either way I'm stumped!

may be time for a valve adjustment if it doesn't sound like a hard knock i would start there. simple procedure you can find many videos on youtube

I've done my own valve adjusment, it's defintely not the valves I'm hearing, and the local dealer says it's not that either. my intake is set at .002" and my exhaust at .003"

Could be bad gas and it is pinging detonating. Change the gas and get it from a good brand gas station. Lefty

when you put the bbk fit in did you do a single gasket or double. if one sometimes it well make the little pins come lose because of the force on the bbk kit.
