WHEW....! What a long and treacherous journey this has been. Lets start at the begining. Last summer i was spending $25 a day driving my ford ranger from maryland to virginia for work everyday. 60 mile round trip. My freinds and i in virgina had a few homeade minibikes we would ride along the coast on backroads for fun. We made perfomance mods, fishing pole racks, and beer coolers for them lol.
We even had lights for night rides. Eventually the neighborhood sheriff put an end to our mini bike gang.
Weeks went by and we were straight up depressed. One guy on the crew snags a scooter with 10k miles for 200 bucks. The next week we all had one. The gang was back on. The dude who got the cheap used scooter was burning us all tho. We had purchaced new scooters
at that. This did not sit well with me.
So without any scooter experienced i started a bbk project, wich i thought would last a weekend. Well i was down intermitently for five months. Blew two engine rods, two head gaskets, and used a lot of oil making a lot of smoke.
But today, with the past behind me, i am bbk pimpin again. I changed out all of my stock engine rods with 5/8 steel all thread. I also had to drill new holes through the engine peices to accomidate. I also installed a 72cc bbk and a mikuni carb. 4g rollers for some extra pep,,,,, and whualah! I have to admit i thought i had destroyed this beast more than once, but it is alive! Now i will use it for work commute and save about $115 a week in gas money again. If you are stuck on project foucus on spark, carb clean, gas vac lines tight,
and no leaks. If i can do it so can u.
