New scooter owner here (qmb139), i'm taking note of my belt size in case it breaks in the future. My question is how do I interpret the numbers listed on the belt itself? Most belts I see for sale online are 669x18x30. So i see 669x17x30 (I think?) on this belt, but what are the rest of the letters and numbers signifying (VS18, the "10", plus those faint red numbers off to the side)? Also, when I do finally have to replace this thing, how is using a 669x18x30 (instead of the 17 i have now) going to affect me?

The "10" could be the length (in inch) of the belt...
If you use a 669x18x30 belt it would be 1mm wider than the one you have. Which could effect the variator so that the belt would have a bit harder to go into the middle of the front variator. But I would try and see if there's any difference.

You always go by the first number for length the 669 the middle number 18 is the width of the belt and the 30 is the angle of the belt along its side. Lefty

I believe your belt is the 669 18 30. Most chinese belts have a couple other sets of numbers on them. Not sure what they all mean. Gates 669 18 30 belt says 669 18.1 In my opinion the 17 on your belt does not indicate the size. Hope this helps.

prodigit, not height, the last number is the degree of the angle the belt is cut at on the sides.
