I'm looking to upgrade to a better carburetor for my 49cc chinese scooter and was looking for advice on the way to go. I was told I should be looking for a type 1 unit and I see that there also type 2 and other options. Is there a significant difference between type 1 and type 2 and if so what might they be? Any knowledge or experience on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Yes, 4 stroke, a 20mm carb with an 85 main jet will get you faster accel and maybe a little more top end, my 50 znen motorino got up to 48+ on a long flat, and a mix of 7stock and 5 rollers, up from 42+ stock. Every engine is different tho, so ride on and keep moding
