Hi all ! new to the forum, recently bought a new Tao Tao atm50. Drove it for abot 1500km without any issues; Lately, I have began feeling vibrations coming through the handles, and are felt throughout the front part of the scooter. It doesnt happen on specific occasions - it happens at every speed, and under any load. It feels as the vibrations get worse when I put pressure on the front wheel. The sound itself feels like something is rubbing the front wheel, but after very close examination. I have failed to find anything wrong with the wheel or the front disc brake. My current assumption is that there is something wrong with the front suspension, or perhaps the steering mechanism. Did anyone ever encounter this problem? Many thanks in advance for any replies !! Update !I've disassembled the front wheel and the speedometer part on the wheel; cleaned everything and reoiled whatever parts seemed to need it. Don't know what was the problem but the vibrations stopped ! ;D ;D ;D Thanks for the suggestions !

Check the fender on the front tire. Mine has worked loose twice now and actually lost one of the bolts that held it on.

On some of those scoots that come in a box like yours the dealer dont do a good job puting theam together. the front wheel and the triple tree has to be put on. I have seen a few of theses scoots have a problem after put together. the tripletree may have to be tighten up. which is part of the stearing. if its under warrenty take it back and have theam fix.

Thanks for the input ! I've removed the fender, and drove without it - made no difference. I've also sprayed some wd40 into the ball bearing of the steering pole. No change. _Another thing that I've tried was to untie the nut that holds the whole assembly of the fork+wheel to the rest of the body; this made the steering harder, but did not change the problem. Right now, my main suspicion is the shock absorbers. I've used a leaf blower to thoroughly clean the whole assembly, and still no change. I've tried to tighten the bolt on top of the shocks, but the thing wont move. Is there a way to check whether the shock are ok or not ? Thanks !
