Just bought my first 2-wheeled vehicle. Used 2011 w/ 605 miles Puma Romeo.
After giving my son my gas guzzling expedition, I've refused to buy another 4-wheel machine. My wife is begging me to "just get it over with and buy a new car". She'd let me buy pretty much anything within reason. Won't do it! Tired of making car payments, $300 per month in gas, job makes me pay $82 per month for parking, and so on...
I work 40- miles round trip 5x a week. My work has discount trolley/bus fare ($44 per month). So I drive 3 miles to the trolley station. It takes me longer to set up the 2 cables, 4 locks, 1 harbor freight alarm, and lock it to a light pole than drive the 3 miles. So I came home early sick Monday, and the tweakers tried to cut my 3/4" cable and steel my scooter. While searching on the forum, I read that someone had suggested using google maps and select option no freeways. Now I'm just going to scoot to and from work.
Please help me find a puma 150cc romeo compatible alarm. I've got no problems with turning a wrench (to a certain degree) plugs, wires, alternators, thermostats, water pumps kind of stuff. And trying to find the thread for my scooter. Is there threads for each model or make? If not seems like that would be cool. Thanks to all of you for your info, work, and knowledge!!
Glad to be here! Goonies never say die.

I like the chain but it needs to be 7+ feet long to reach around the light pole. Thanks, but that's too much $. I found a cheap battery alarm w/ remote $10 on eBay. Won't drain battery.
