I should have in my filthy hands in two or three days. I probably should have went with the Ecotrons kit but I found one called the M8 track system. It is supposedly a fifth generation system.
Why this system? The first reason was...no external fuel pump. Basically the pump is built into the injector. The second was for the gy6 it is plug and play. The only two significant modifications are the line to the tank and the 02 in the exhaust.
Its just as pretty as the Ecotons system..but we will see when I get it..I'll take a ton of pics

FAI makes the system.
John: it was supposedly designed to be low draw.

do you have a link to the kit?? I have a friend who has a fuel injection system on his scooter and he has a Ballistic EVO2 50 battery just for the fuel pump.

Did you look under the technology tab? I thought it did a good job explaining. Good enough for me to send off my money.
The kit is less then $175. How far less depends on your setup. Basically, I told him my setup was gy6 150, vacuum carb...the only other things I needed were two brass T-fittings.
Keep in mind...I do not speak Chinese...the seller does not speak english...my translator does not understand scooters or engines. Everything out there about this kit is just a rehash of the technology section of the website I linked...except for translates into chinglish (so very confusing). I have never purchased from this guys shop before and I don't know him. I do know that he does sell parts for motorcycles, scooters, and bent frames...but the main business is a repair shop.
My decision was more of a leap of faith. I asked what he would recommend for my scooter...this kit or a Modified carb, 12 pole, bigger rect, and their "digital athletic ignition?" Both packages comparable in price and all parts sold from his store...he recommended the EFI kit.
I am willing to be a guinea pig. If it works...I'll be happy...if it doesn't or is to complicated for me...maybe I can find someone with more knowledge then me to trade...or I'll just take it as a lesson learned.
So I don't have more info...I took a leap of faith...I don't know exact cost till I get it in my hands and know if I have to buy additional parts or exchange for different. But I should have it by Friday or Saturday. Then I will take pictures give impressions etc.
My Co workers are Chinese and they help me get whatever I am looking for using Baidu.com. I tell them what I want...they search...I buy...lol.
On the flip side I found two versions of a system similar to ecotrons sold by Shijiazhuang benefit the Division of Innovation and Technology Co...the closed loop (w O2) retails in China for close to $190.

Sorry I didn't think anyone was bashing. I will be happy when I get it in my hands...then I could share an impression. And if it works...provide some options.

Can't wait for the follow up! Couldn't help myself but to check out www.baidu.com You are lucky to have translators, the only thing I found was women in panties and jacked up apps. Have a nice day!

It could work out really nice, if so here's an idea. Have one of your Chinese friends write up instructions as to which tabs to hit on the website for a specific size of engine (say a gy6 125) so that if this is a good product others can follow and not be shooting in the dark...so to speak.

Spandi: You wanted to know the company...so I told you...I gave you an english site. I don't want this to sound odd..but I get the feeling you are looking for a nice clean descriptive sellers page with user testimony and comments?? One may exist but I have not found it. It has been my experience that when you find those type of sites you end up paying 3 or 4x's the price.
Open the page linked above...click the technology tab...you have two choices FIA system or application (on left side of the page). These will give you the theory and a few schematics. Then you can also click on the tab titled PRODUCT (on the top)...and see pics of the components.
It may apply to more configurations..but from what I can tell the kit is directed at three categories; Bent Frame (honda wave types 100, 110), Pedal Car(scooters 125, 150), and straddle (motorcycles 125, 150, 175, 200, 250). ECU and Power Nozzle have two varieties (100-150 and 150-250). There are several options when it comes to "oil and gas separators" oil being what we call gas...and gas being vapors or bubbles. Also what type of carb is being replaced and how it connects to the engine. My kit will be a Pedal car, 150, gy6, vacuum style, with two extra brass T-connectors. I asked if I needed a different CDI..and was told no...they would send me wiring instructions on directing the function of my cdi to the system ecu my. At time of ordering I was a little selfish and only asked questions in regard to my specific configuration, sorry.
Now you know as much as I do...good luck. Are you trying to buy one right now???
Let me get the system..by today or tomorrow and I'll take pics and document the process. I might be able to get a bit more information for everyone.
My drive is that I wanted to put EFI on my scoot. I basically stumbled onto this system...I do not know if it works. For all I know it could be as useful as slick 50 or the infamous ebay electric turbo. But I had a feeling that the existing systems were just smaller versions of old existing technology. Just making things smaller isn't always the best way...sometimes you need to redesign. When I first began reading posts on small engine EFI kits to me it seemed strange that no one had ditched the fuel pump for something more efficient. Especially since these kits do not need to push the fuel volume of an automotive engine. They looked like a what you would get if you took a four cyl system, quartered it and made it smaller.
I am excited...I want this to work. But I also know that I am going to get a lot of help during installation and trouble shooting from the person I bought the kit from. This is my first time doing this so please understand...I'll find out a lot more as I go along...thanks

It is here...in my hands and this is what it looks like. I was surprised in the size of the box...seemed small. But overall the simplicity of the kit amazed me. Attachments:

Does it have a CDI box or controlled by the ECU ? I see Ecotrons you can go ether way . I wish my Echarm had a CDI box instead of paying to remap or but a program module for 200

As far as I understand...the ecu will control the spark timing...there are two options...purchase a no advance cdi...or just use the stock. The told me that I didn't need the extra cdi that my existing will work. All the instructions are in chinese that I have right now but I will get it worked through soon. Roy I have a pin diagram but it is all in chinese...I think I remember seeing one somewhere...I'll look again...it might have been for the cdi. Attachments:

Roy...this is the one from their site for the ecu...not sure if I am suppose to use??? or did you mean the dedicated cdi?? If so I had that translated to: EFI dedicated no advanced ignition wiring diagram 1 Prynne then the EFI harness above the yellow 2 black and yellow connected to the ignition coil / ignition coil signal (using the capacitive ignition coil) 3 black-and-white for the flameout line 4 white and green then the subscript signal / trigger signal negative 5 green ground wire / Ground 6 black and red then open the electric lock positive electricity line (positive flasher / brake switch positive) Attachments:

Thanks Roy.
I showed the kit to my friend and he thought it should be a simple install...he is going to weld the bung for me on Monday...weekends are my busy work days. Even though everything is in Chinese...everything is labeled nicely and should work out just fine...kind of like the computer game where you match the symbols.
I might be making this more difficult...but I also ordered a new instrument cluster that has a check engine light So I am kind of hoping to patch this to that. But the cluster hasn't gotten here yet.

Thanks...tomorrow I plan on starting work on the install.
Couple of things that might prove to be difficult...although then again maybe of no consequence. The flanges are asymmetrical. I was hoping to have both the injector body and the throttle linkage on the top...but you can not. What this does is puts the idle adjustment screw facing the engine. I do not think it will matter once the system is setup but I would have preferred to have it on top like with a carb. I also purchased some different hose clamps as the ones that were included were the squeeze type and I wanted something a little more secure. Someone was talking about fuel injection specific hose clamps...could someone snap me a picture? The ones I purchased were the basic screw tight variety.
