It probably would drain the battery. They talk about how you have to have a relay, etc. but I gotta figure something out; this happens daily in this small town (here's today's event, seriously: youtu.be/N1bVTYc2-Uw

Last video ends with "i feel my days are numbered"?? cheer up or get an suv if you're so paranoid when riding. just to feed your paranoia a bit more - riding a motorbike is 32 TIMES more dangerous than driving a car. cheers

This is just my personal opinion but I hate to think my safety depends on a horn and somebody reacting to it. I prefer to determine my own fate. There are many things that can be done that are more effective than tooting your horn. Brakes and maneuvering come to mind.

You said its like you are invisible, you are. Ride with that assumption and you'll be fine.

I feel my days are numbered because of the drivers around here, and it has zilch to do with fear and I certainly won't stop riding. I live in basically a retirement community, and there are a lot of drivers out here that really have problems seeing. On top of that, scooters are incredibly foreign to them (not many 'round these parts). The horn isn't to save my life; it's to send them a little gift for their own maneuvering.
