Please if anyone knows just make a list here so I can use it later on... Is it the 2T liquid cooled or air cooled version? Some are vertical engines while our Chinese scoots are horizontal Minarelli's. Have you tried looking at Morini based engine scooter parts?..such as for the TGB Laser and other TGB scoots...

Problem is there is not to many parts for the NEW RENAMED SCOOT YUP. They changed the name so they could get rid of all the stings they had or have in their warehouse. Since it was advertised that the STING was no longer available and discontinued who in their right mind would buy one. Old trick of the trade out their.

His engine should be a Minarelli based kymco sf10 engine like the cobra/super8/super9 ac/yup/sting not the honda dio based sc10 thats on the zx50s. I have a service manual if you want a copy for your bike. Theres also a vitality, like, and agility 50 2ts, Im not sure which engine they use tho as Ive never worked on one yet. Majority of the SH10b LC performance parts work for the sf10 also. Anything minarelli will fit it. I recommend the Yasani C20 exhaust and nothing less if youre going for 10k+ rpms and expecting power.

Ive seen several other people saying something about the super 8 and 9 AC being a af16/18 derivative but it is most definitely not it is a horizontal engine with different style mounts than a honda. You might also have a DC CDI on your sting like the super 9, unlike most scoots using AC CDIs.

i have always thought that none of the minarelli parts would work on the super 9

On the AC models it does but Im not sure on the LC. I know the reed block is the same between the two.

found a great manual for the super 9 but there some major differences from the minarelli and clone minarelli the cylinder is slanted up and the oil pump is by the reed block and the starter look like a gy6 Bendix and it on the bottom not top some cool info if anyone wants to read www.scribd.com/doc/18292347/Kymco-Super-9-50-EN

ya its a derivative, definitely not the same exact thing. Kymco is weird how they change little things but utilize old designs into the new design. I forget if we were able to use the mina exhaust right now, I thought for certain we used a C20 or C21 on it but Ill have to call my neighbor. Definitely same bbk as the mina. Its a lot like how gears from a 80s earlier model engine work on the AF16/AF18 derived zx50 but not primary gears from a af16/18. You can make it work by changing the whole set together but stock they wont work , yet the different style engine gears drop in. Either way the engine isnt the vertical style and it is horizontal and you need to look for parts for this style.

I also have a sting 50. shares the same 2 stroke as the people 50. the leo vince exhaust was the best mod i've done to the bike.

Airfilter? Many are flat. Find flat foam, cut it to shape, oil it, and you have a filter. Shaped? Good luck or learn to man up and sew. Lol!
