I just wanted to give a shout out to Jeremy at Enviromoto for all his help. Back in May my Scooter with around 18,000 miles on it finally seized a crank bearing. Several weeks after this I had to go to the ER with severe abdominal pain. I spent nearly 3 weeks in the Hospital at that time, and after surgery it was determined I had colon cancer. Part of my large intestine was removed and I was given a temporary colostomy that can be reversed after I finish Chemo.
I got out of the hospital in late June, but was back in for another 3 weeks in late August & September due to complications from surgery. I still at this time still had my old 27 y.o. car to get me around, but being unable to work I couldn't afford the gas and insurance. While in the hospital the 2nd time someone stole the tag off the car while parked in the garage.
Being out of work and living by myself there was no one to fall back on and support me. So I was lucky enough to get a grant from the United Way to help with my bills during this time. Anyway I couldn't drive the car without tags or insurance so I ended up junking it to pay my electric bill. So I now had to transportation to get back and forth to the Dr's.
Jeremy (after hearing about my situation on Facebook) volunteered to GIVE me a brand new engine for my Scooter! In fact Jeremy not only gave me the motor but paid to ship it to me as well. So now I am back on the Scooter and have a CHEAP way to get around and back and forth to chemo. VERY few people would have done what Jeremy did for me and I wanted people to be aware of this! I encourage everybody out there to give Enviromoto as much business as possible!! We need to support people like this who help out with no thought of their own gain. It's nice to see the Scooter community supporting each other in a time of need!! So....BUY FROM ENVIROMOTO!!! Support the good people in this world!!
