Good! I'll bet even where you are the crew here can help you keep your Rusi* scoot running like a sewing machine.
*Imported from China, called the Rusi in the Philippines.

I am serious in learning about mechanical stuff...today I opened the CVT cover of my scooter and I am so happy to see that everything inside are in good condition, no problem noted.

Lucky you! I managed to snap two variator fins and my clutch nut had seized (It was a nightmare getting it off!) Oh well, a good excuse to get a Malossi replacement.

Yeah its good to WD40 your nuts on your variator and clutch. Take them off and put them back on. It cleans out the crap.

Funny I have to checked first on google what were you saying here LOL. To know about nuts and bolts and malossi parts were just one of the things I learned....and yes I am learning My scooter had been fixed twice, not because of being broken itself or down at heel. But because I had 2 major accidents wherein the steering wheel and the back tire misaligned, the exhaust flattened etc.

Yep, everyone goes through the "learning curve" and after awhile that jumble of parts, wires, and tubes under the "tupperware" panels, become as familiar to you as your own neighborhood.

Yes Jacine was very good but I noticed she's not active member anymore since 2010. I never dreamed to drive a 2 wheeler but I must admit I was influenced by one guy. I was been affected emotionally and had 2 accidents because of it and I wanted before to give up my scoot. But then I missed the fun in driving so after I got partially healed ( emotionally and physically) I made sure to get back to my scoot LOL... And part of owning this little stuff is to learn how to maintain and keep it going so learning mechanically is just fun part

Don't forget to wear SAFETY GEAR while riding. Helmet, Jacket , gloves and boots. (you never know who is behind the wheel.)
P.S. I could never really find out why she disappeared
