Hi everyone, I'm an active member for some time now, but never had the chance to say hello officially. My name is Ivan, I live in Berlin and this is my pride and joy - a 2006 Qingqi RS450 branded in Germany as REX RS450: I have modified the bike and installed a Baotian engine, bigger carb, free flow filter, manual petcock, plugged manifold, new electrics, new R/R, new coil, new CDI, NGK Iridium, Naraku belt, 6.5g weights, LED tail, LED nose, LED dash, Xenon look headlight, custom seat, top box, etc., etc., but I still keep it 50cc because I ride it a lot (around 30 miles each day) and I enjoy the ~100 MPG I get from it. I was very pleased to find a great helpful and knowing crowd here and will help people in need as much as I can. Ride safely and see you around.

Hi, as my name might tell you, I'm also not German, but I love the place since there are SO MANY scooter tuning shops, both on- and offline. Also, huge variety of parts here. So I guess these are my main priorities

nice scoot heard yall have a big scooter scene over there Pretty much every young person that has some sort of vehicle, boy or a girl, rides a scooter in summer and it's becoming like Rome here, only not so many Italian scoots, but more like heavy modified Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese and Japanese machines and on the other side the old German moped brands like Simson Schwalbes, NSUs, Zündapps, Mammuts and even Phänomens, all BBK. The yuppies with the iPads of course all go on their stock vespas as everywhere, but no one pays attention to them. It's more like eastern performance vs national vintage around Berlin. It's a nice place to ride a scoot and race with a tuned 1969 Schwalbe on your way back from work haha

Nice to meet you I must say I'm jealous I would love to have a scooter with an oil light. Nice bike glad to have you on board Hi, thanks for the kind words. It's actually a distance counter that turns mechanically from green to red after 1000 kilometers. Then, when you change the oil, you stick your key in a small hole to reset it and it clicks to green again. Not so high tech, but does the job and no sensors to worry about

Glad you got a kick out of it Ivan! If Iggy Pop says Berlin is his favorite city that makes it too cool.
