Hi from a newbie in Florida. Got a little 50 cc Chinese Scoot. Had a couple of problems with it but nothing major. I'm kinda unusual, I think...a little "older" & female to boot. Looking forward to an exchange of ideas and LOTS of suggestions on how to make my "Little Yellow Friend" run til I can afford a grown-up scoot.

Hi Welcome aboard Pleased to meet you You will find that lots of us love these smaller scoots so dont be so quick to want to move on up unless you find the need to want to ride on the interstate A little money for performance upgrades and some time and knowledge to install them and these little guys are just fine for around town and the city Take care and ride safely Yours Hank

Sorry to take so long to get back. Have to post from the library so I can only get on every few days. So far I've had to replace my battery and now need to replace the ignition switch. Having trouble finding decent dealers in town so it looks like I'm going to have to order parts & do it myself. (Am OK with basic work...don't understand engine stuff.) Found a nice dealer but they don't have the Chinese scoot parts & it takes forever to get them. Found another dealer that has the parts but they were, frankly, rude & nasty. I was at the counter first & they skipped over me to wait on a man who arrived after me. When I asked for the part the guys behind the counter just started swearing at each other. Bad experience & I won't go back there. I can swear with the best of them, but good grief! I'm finding that dealers don't seem to want to mess with the Chinese scoots & think that sucks. We need love too. O.K., I've vented. Gonna look online & find my ignition switch. HANK- thanks for the encouragement. I'd like a little more speed out of my "Little Yellow Friend,"as I call my ride. Other than that, I'm doing pretty well. I work with a bunch of guys, two of which ride motorcycles, so thay give me all kinds of good advice. Thanks again for the welcome. Will be back in a few. ~XO~
