Scrappy always answers emails within 24hrs, and is actually one of the very few who have a phone number with real people. Be sure first you are sending to the correct email and phone number. Second, make sure Scrappy's email is on your preferred recipient lists, as if it's not, the return email will go to your junk or bulk folder. service@scrappydogscooters.com and 702-689-6035

I don't answer the emails for Scrappy. I have, however, forwarded to the office manager Shelly for her reply. She's pretty adamant about returning emails, as I am too about taking care of our customers. This posting was replied to pretty fast IMHO. FYI, a shipment did just arrive of much needed parts, but it wasn't a large container which ties up the whole office.

This request was in the interest of resolving a potential issue and helping others if there was a problem, as i did see you went somewhere else despite our unbeatable prices with the best quality parts. At the very least, I'd appreciate the emails you sent forwarded so I can personally attend to the problem. If not, I understand...

I've rarely had a problem dealing with Scrappy. I've never had an issue dealing with Shelly or Osha. With all the different warehouses and suppliers I have access to I still get parts from Scrappy on a regular basis. And somehow they are able to ship faster than I can with my jet airplane!

Thanks alot. I've actually got to update the picture on the 4valve head kit as it's now a genuine MTRT head. They make HRC racing parts for Honda directly. It's Japanese level quality. As a matter of fact, all our performance parts are Taiwanese, some of which are made just for us to our specifications as we have that kind of volume. We've considering putting a label name on it to inspire confidence, kind of like Hoca is to PFS, but we'll just stay with the Scrappy name for now. Not many people can tell the difference in quality, or even care, but just look just at price. We started out a number of years ago just stocking the lowest quality, cheapest, low grade parts we could find, but in the end, it was better to not do that. We didn't increase prices, and haven't done so in over 3 years now, despite rising costs. It's better to give people a choice between low and high grade parts, but still, our low grade cheap parts are North American grade. Not many sellers are aware there are 5 different grades of chinese OEM parts, but just look for the cheapest prices, which in the end is more expensive really IMHO. Anyway, enough for now. I'm back to the machine shop. My new project is the Wildfire TRE, which is a true rotary engine, with a CVT that utilizes an oil bath chain instead of a belt. The chain has less drag, doesn't break, and requires no maintanence except keeping oil in the case. Don't confuse this CVT with the old chain drive Geely D1E41QMB's, which were just straight drive. This system provides infinite, automatic drive ratio selection. The rotary engine is nothing like the old Wankel rotary, and only employs a dozen parts total in the engine. Less parts, more reliable, and alot cheaper to manufacture. The initial run of powerplants will be suited to be a bolt in replacement for the venerable 139qmb, and will be 49cc to expedite employment in the market without excessive DOT and EPA regulations. We'll sell them through the ScrappyDogScooters warehouse.

We'll sell them through the ScrappyDogScooters warehouse. I used to own an RC airplane engine that was a Wankel....interesting concept and a break away from the standard 2 stroke ones. But used lots of fuel and has lots less power than regular .30 engines..but did sound sweet. I gotta back you on this...as for your staff..including MO..I have been impressed. Most slider weights are 1 gram lighter than marked...I called one day and the lady that answered...WENT BACK..got a set..weighed them and told me.."Nope our 6 grams are actually 6 grams" Now THAT is customer service...she is a receptionist of sorts..yet anytime I order..I call or email to see if item is in stock...she will go look..or I get my email replied to right away! Then when it comes to shipping....between you..Mainely Scooters and PFS...I think I sometimes barely get my credit card back in my wallet and my package is here. I am a small time repair/parts dealer...I get all my stuff directly from China...but they carry very few performance items...so I get them from you 3 vendors. All of which are top quality...and as you said there are several quality levels of Chinese parts. That is why I dumped 2 vendors and now use the one I have. You know I am sure...you cannot please everyone..someone will complain. I often give away free parts...CDI's..belts...plugs...bulbs etc...and guess who the biggest complainers are?...the ones that got stuff for free! Those that pay for parts and repairs are 99% satisfied...ironic huh?.. Glenn
