I've seen plenty of the single wheel in front type, but I've seen a few trikes with the articulating wheels in front that tilt as you lean into turns. (Piaggio MP3, I believe?)
Any suggestions as to a model that's known to be good?

They're worthless and have a multitude of problems. Ride on two wheels its safer.

The reverse trikes ( 2 wheels in front) have nothing but issues. I will not sell them.

All I have read and what I have seen first hand they are nothing but headaches and very hard to get parts or support on. Ice Bear use to have these on their website, (they bought from Sunny) and even they has issues getting parts and way to many dealer complaints, so they quit offering them for sale. Jim

Jim, I seriously thought about a road trip to visit your shop, but when I looked at the map the distance turned out to be an all-day trip, much like when I go visit my Mom each year.
See, this is why I wish teleportation was a reality! ;D

Jim Most of my issues have been with the GY6... and not specifically with the DF150TKA as such. One exception was the crappy design of the speedometer pickup which is(was) driven by a T shaped nut that doubled as the rear wheel nut. It doesn't use a cotter pin, or any other locking device and the resistance of the speedometer pickup is in the "loosening" direction. It backed off and destroyed the speedometer pickup. Replaced it with a magnetic pickup bike speedometer which is way more accurate anyway. Otherwise, don't think I've had more problems than ANY of the chinese scooters, two wheels or three.

You look good on it GOATEE and all ;D I think the MAROON color on it makes it look really good. I always liked a good Maroon color on the scoots. I bet that BBQ place is a great place to get some good eating. Wile To add more pictures right after the other just do this: Pic1 Pic2 Pic3 etc.

I've got a Sunny Roadrunner 300 aka MC_D300TKB and if I wasn't mechanically inclined and a tinkerer I probably would have major problems. But if you know your way around a wrench these things can be a lot of fun!

Finally figure out the pic thingy. Here's a larger picture of my trike. I don't know of all this danger my fellow riders are seeing. They do ride completely different than a two wheeler but I wouldn't call them dangerous. A little more challenging yes but not dangerous. I found that people who never road scooters before do better adjusting to the ride than those who started off on 2 wheels, I guess because they don't have to fight against the habits they wold have picked up riding a 2 wheeler. The way you lean, break or accelerate into and out turns is way different than on a traditional scooter.

I took this thing stock literally out the box to a bike show and whoed the crowed. Can't beat the looks and attention it gets even sitting next to 1100cc raped in stretched chrome.

IMHO the reverse trikes are safer than the regular trikes. With a regular trike, you can not brake and corner at the same time. English cars tended to flip over, unless you're driving at low speeds.
I tend to agree with anyone else, a trike is more dangerous than a bike.

Prodigit: Yes, my first an only accident on my Trike was cornering while trying to brake. However, it can be done. Just slow and easy and using the front brake more than the rear (which the Motorcycle handbook will say NOT to do - But it wasn't written for Trikes). And, in general, I disagree that Trikes are more dangerous than a Motorcycle. With both there will be a learning curve.
Savy09 : Exactly! All the problems with my Trike was with loose stuff. Mostly electrical wiring.

Parker, +1 Been triking since june and take my turns slightly wider, no problems, and I'm 76yrs old. I just adapted naturally to it, and after riding 2 whls. It also leans into turns with ease.

Loving mine so far no problems yet. Not having any stability problems like others appear to have. I have all the shocks set 2 notches from the lowest setting and have gone over bumps and its rock solid no bump steer. Guess I'm a lucky one. Attachments:
