Hey Bill, Can I help you out a bit with your images? It really pains me to see such a nice mod to a scoot without a good picture. I took the liberty of cutting your scoot out of the grass: And I thought you might like to have it in an Avatar as well: I hope you like them and use them... -Rich

Looks good gents, thanks for the tips and tricks. I want to repaint mine flat black, a much easier paint job then the nice glossy finishes! I'm just afraid it may look unfinished in flat black, but every bike I see in flat black I love how it looks!

I had an estimate from a body shop on the Bali/TTouring body style. Cost was $300+, if i removed all the panels and brought them to the shop. That is about the average price for around here as well $300 and up, depending on colour, metallics or chrome illusion , which come in at over $500..... a bit pricey for sure I have considered painting mine.. but have yet to find someone who can replicate the carbon fiber look my scoot has... I would like ot have some carbon fibre decals that have the tear away edges look like it was tore/scratched away to reveal an alterante colour

Here is a picture of my 1979 Suzuki GS 425 done in the same paint. I love the color after it has been clear coated! I haven't seen one of those Cafe Racer fairings in year. Looks good on your GS Jim as well as the blue. So does yours Wild bill. Nicely done. RD

Great looking bikes guys. I plan on doing something with mine when the weather warms up, 6 degrees at the moment. Mine is just a plain silver color. It needs some color on it, so it's not in the background. I feel you have to be seen, to not be hurt. Especially around here, where no one pays any attention to anything on the road.
