Been a die hard cycle rider for 20 years and never gave scooters a thought until last week when I got an 87 CH150 for a song. I originally figured to turn it over for a profit but got attached. But I shouldn't be surprised as I grew up with hot rodders and I dig old VWs. Anyway, looking forward to digging in and showing no fear.

And yes, that is the rare black duct tape performance seat cover. Try not to envy.

Thanks. I don't have too many places to ride it around here as I'm very rural (all my neighbors are cows) and the speed limits are around 60, but I think it would be great to pack up for camping. Even my wife likes it. I drive a 78 Superbeetle covertable for fun and am already building a trailer so I can bring the scoot to car shows as a gopher.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. I am new myself but have already found a wealth of information, I love tinkering with mine and this is the perfect place to learn.
