Here are pictures showing the interesting parts of the electric scoot. I will start with the dash. It uses a "gas gauge" that works on volts. Like your cell phone it will show low when you are riding especially when you are going fast or accelerating. Shut it off and it recovers. The gauge with the little blue light indicates when there is no power. The side stand was down. The power is also cut off when you touch the brakes. It is funny seeing the light when you stop and hold the brakes. This is the 5000 watt motor. This is the controller. It is the brains of the thing. This is the batteries. They are in layers with rubber mats between them. There are 21 batteries in all. This is the underseat trunk. With all the batteries I was surprised to find that amount of room. You can even carry the charger in there if you want to recharge at work or somebody else's house. This is where you fill her up. This is my lock which locks the throttle and the front brake. It may not stop it from being stolen but it is visible and will keep most people honest. Here is the front. I like the way the black comes down dividing the head lights. This is the trunk which wasn't easy to mount since the luggage rack wasn't flat. There are 3 tail/stop lights on the scooter.

It is supposed to go 60 but the faster you go the faster it runs down. They claim 85 miles on a charge but I recharge between 30 and 40 miles. Because I have everything within a few miles of where I live it is handy to hop on and go. It doesn't have engine braking so it coasts real well. Maintenance consists of checking brakes and tires. The chrome things on the ends of the bars are just decoration as there is no vibration to numb your hands.

500W models usually go up to 35-40KM/h correct? and cruise up to 50-60KM. From my experience that is, i used to have a GIO 500W bike, theyre quite dangerous because they cannot handle much abuse from the road (pot holes, cracks, rocks etc.) gave it away because going 35KM/H and having traffic pass you by at 60-70KM/h scared the living crap out of me!

This is a 5000 watt motor. I believe 500 watts would be in the 50cc moped class.

Nice! Looks like a substantial piece of kit you have there! I'd really consider an electric scoot for my 30 -40mile commute but I can't find anything like this in the UK. Electric scoots available here are all toys.
