Here's a pic of my 2008 Longbo Adventure scooter! Got it used on craigslist with about 2025 miles on it and up to about 2800 now. I changed out the oil and gear oil and tightened up all the nuts and bolts. Unfortunately the bolt on the main exhaust braket was missing when I bought it, and I didn't realize it!!! So, after a while, the exhaust pipe actually broke in two right up by the flange that bolts on to the engine. Soooo, I was lucky enough to find an exhaust shop that welded it back together for me. When I went to buy a bolt for the one that was missing I noticed the welds holding the main bracket on the exhaust were broken too, so I had those welded as well. When I put it all back on I used lock washers on all the bolts and now the scooter sounds great!. All the squeaks and rattles that it had when I bought it are gone!!!. It's never failed to start and I've had it up to 60mph. So far I'm loving it!!! Attachments:

Sweet. I have a siler one that I picked up on craigs last May for $700 with 200 "kilometers" on it. I too lost my muffler and had a friend re-weld it. In Nov (about 4300 km) I lost the nut on the rear axel, so I had to order and install a new axel. When I took the trans case off, notice that the belt was shot so I got a ne2w kevlar belt and (why not) put in 11gram rollers, down from 13grams. I've had to adjust the valve rockers about every 500 km, but I guess that's nature of this beast. I work less on my harley, but I have lots more fun surprising people with the speed of my scoot.

Thanks for your post. I have the exact same scooter and was having the exact same problems with the freaking exhaust/ exhaust clamps. I was coming to the conclusion that i was going to have to go "custom" with this thing as i have gone through 1 pipe and 2 clamps. Very frustrating because aside from some other minor things im happy overall with my purchase. These things are flooding the market right now and as time goes on we will sort this BS out. Thanks again for posting.
