I ordered a #80 for my main jet, still waiting for it to come in the mail to post my results. My scooter: 08 50cc Peace Sports scooter stamped 6B and 1P39QMB so it's a 63cc. Stock carb stock exhaust stock air filter box 4g sliders stock variator stock clutch will post my results in a few days of the upgrade of a bigger main jet. Just installed it today. HUGE improvement in acceleration! I go from 0-20 a LOT faster. I go up hills ~30-35mph (depending on how steep) I go on average 42-46mph on flat. I go down hills ~50mph (let go of the throttle because my RPMs sound pretty high) Worth the money to get #80 main jet? YES Would recommend if you have a secrete 63cc scooter to upgrade your main jet if you have a stock carb, air intake, and exhaust. Again, everything on my scooter is stock accept my 4g sliders in my stock variator, and my new #80 main jet in my stock carb. Thanks! And I hope this information helped. Thanks Greg for the tip!

Sigh.... I couldn't get the variator nut off. I have an air powered impact gun but my compressor is only 100psi. I tried many times, it just isnt enough psi to remove knock loose the nut. On a side note, they are making these things even cheaper now. It appears that the fins on my variator are made of plastic. At least that is what it feels like and is semi flexible. Anyone know what psi is needed to get that dang nut off?

Try spraying some anti seize on the threads and letting it soak overnight. Our compressor runs at 150 psi.

Well, I found out my father has an air compressor that is 180psi, so I am going to drive my scooter over to his house tomorrow and try it there. Hopefully that should be good enough to break it lose!

I was just reading this thread and do not know if this helps anyone. I have a 2008 Peace Sports 50. It has the 6B stamp. I did replace the carb only because it was cheaper to buy new than the parts cost to repair. I do not remember the jet size but both carbs had the same jet. It would not make sense to me that being 13cc bigger would substantially change the jet size if at all. A carberator's job is to meter fuel proportionally to the amount of air. Now if perhaps the air cleaner and exhaust were opened up and the carb bore was the only thing holding the engine back a larger carb may be the ticket for more RPMs in the top end.
I am going to wait until I can ride to read the plug and make the judgement about carb jetting then. My guess is that for most a one size up jet would benefit any scooter with a factory carb secret 63 or not.

I got my 4g dr pulleys sliders installed on my scooter and it is a completely different scooter now. Much more power for taking hills and oddly enough, raised my top end speed as well. If you make any adjustments to these scooters, Switch out those rollers, it is well worth the money!

Scrappy dog sells them. Not sure if I do or not but I could get them. Thanks Greg. Not sure if I need one or not, but I'm testing compression today hopefully to see if there's an issue there. The new carb and main jet I ordered from you are installed and there's a huge difference in performance. I'm still having a really hard time starting it though. I just ordered a size 40 idle jet from you, maybe that will do the trick. There's definitely something not right with the idle. it's not very steady, doesn't seam to respond when I turn the A/F screw in either direction and it stalls when it idles for a while.

Double check for a loose hose too. Greg I've checked all the hoses a couple times and unless the clamps I used aren't creating a good seal, I don't think there's anything loose. I did use the worm gear clamps and it looks like they might not be completely sealing all the way around, like its not evenly sealing it... But honestly I don't think that's it. Do you think It's a vacuum hose? I thought I might try plugging the hose going to the emissions stuff (I think that's what it is) and seeing if that helps.

Adjust valves? Spark plug good? Probably the A/F mix is just off. Start it at 2.5 turns out.

Pretty sure my Peace scoot is a 63, its 2011 "BOSS" . It would not idle without 38 pilot jet..

I was told that Peace had a bunch of crates held up in customs in 2010 because of the 63cc engine. they held them in a warehouse and are bringing them back out now at a discounted price. No matter what the title says its 1-2 year old scooter if it has a 63cc.
