These scoots use a cable driven speedo, is yours missing the puck and cable that goes on the front axle?

this one is digital all the way, it has a wheel sensor on the caliper that picks up the revolution of the magnet embedded in the front rotor

Clumsylarry, That is good news, but please share your findings what website you found the part or parts. Those scoots are popular and many people have them and if they run into the same problem the answer will be here and known to everyoone. Lefty

lefty, sorry about not sharing my info figured were i was a newbee i mught be stepping out of bounds. ???so here goes.i just picked up this roketa mc 60 150. from a guy that could torn a wrench if his life depended on it or ride a scoot. he had taken a fall on it so wanted it outa his site. all she need was fresh gas and i was riding. i notice that everything on the speedo was working except mileage counter, the trip meter and mph all digital, did some snooping around and found that the scooter has a speed sensor on a bracket on the left front caliper i traced the wire from the sensor to the speedometer.took the caliper off the bike with the bracket, thats when i noticed a little magnet sticking to the metal bracket so i assumed it was kicked up from the road,so i figured it was interfering with speed sensor not know anything about these speedos i tossed it in the trash(never throw anything out). come to find out it was the pick up magnet that should have been embedded on the rotor to so the speed sensor can read it.the clip that holds it must have rusted away and the little magnet spun off the rotor and by chance landed on the metal bracket that holds the sensor .so any you scooter buds have the same problem .i found this site for my magnets trailtech.net all it is is a magnet with a small plastic housing it fits in one on the rotor that is bigger than the other holes in the rotor it goes in the hole and is retained clip on the back side of it.waiting on my new magnets to be shipped i will share the results. SO TRAILTECH.NET HAS THE STUFF. LARRY ;D Attachments:

I have a Rowdy SSR 150cc. Looks exactly like the Roketa MC-60. I bought it used for $700 about two months ago.
I since replaced the rear tire, headlight bulb, sealed the valve cover and added a cigarette lighter and some blue LED lights to the plastic bottom cover.
