Hi all - Just purchased a second hand (6mth old scoot) brake light stays on, called the shop where it was originally bought (Scooters Plus of Palm Bay FL-they have been MOST help full esp. since I am second owner...I digress) They are sending me a new "brake light switch" and I am pretty confident I will be ok putting it in ...the real Q I have is ...can ANYONE direct me to a manual, or wiring diagram for these scooters? the remote start, and alarm seem to be way more trouble than they are worth, I would love to disconnect both, but I found the alarm is tied in with the turn signals, and I kinda like using them! Also if I accidentally hit the remote start, then all kinds of weird stuff happens, even after I hit the kill switch the brake light stays on for several minutes, the scooter is able to be turned on with NO key in the ignition...It would appear to me (and I know NOTHING) that some how that remote start is staying "active" even after the thing is turned off! (found out this is exactly how that works, the ignition is "active" for about 65 seconds..DUH) The funny thing is I purchased this brand so I could get service from the only shop in my town....and he is no help AT ALL. I am going to have to learn how to take this scooter apart and put it back together MYSELF. Maybe he will hire me as his mechanic when I am through! lol any help will be appreciated this is a '06 Baccio VX50

It's a 2 stroke, don't have any manuals or diagrams that will work.

Cool scoot, never seen a 50cc 2 stroke version of that body style. As to wiring diagrams, I'd check ifn we've a 50cc 4 stroke manual here, ifn the Chinese are as cheap as Kymco, the wiring harness serves both, there's not really all that much difference between them after all.

There are many discepancies in that description. First, it says overhead cam, no 2 stroke has valves, so there is no cam to operate them. Second, it says it uses a NGK C7HSA spark plug, that is a 4 stroke spark plug, the 2 stroke spark plug would be a BP6HS for a chain drive or BP7HS for the CVT. Third, there is no contact info. I personally think these are rebadged Verucci Avispa's. If so, here's the link verucci.com/html/main/10D%20WIRING%20SCHEMATIC.jpgHope this helps.

Well, verifying whether its a 2 stroke or a 4 should be the first step if there's that many mistakes, and that's quite easy, if its a 2 stroke, there should be an oil tank in close proximity to the fuel tank.

yep! def a single cylider 2 stroke-I have an oil tank just to the front of the seat(appears to be oil injected (has wires going into oil tank and also "idiot light" oil icon in dash) the gas tank is to the rear of the seat, this scooter is put together pretty well, nice fir&finish I would not be surprised to find it is perhaps a "renamed" verucci...like I said b4 - I will post pics, soon, (camera broken, and not sure how to use "photobucket") ...but still once again nice to have this on line community to go to for help

ok I got brake light switch, and "TA-DA" I replaced it! Myself! functions properly, inside the cover is just a nest of wires, so I was glad I could just follow what I was taking out and putting in. I did take pictures but now that I have done it and seams pretty easy I won't clog the board with photos,if any one here has to do one of these, just ask for the pics, but believe me if I could do it wasn't that hard! ;D

I own a Baccio Dlx50 and I haven't had any problems with it .One thing the dealer explained to me was to make sure that I shut the autostart off after using it or the bike would stay on and kill the battery. Just hit the x on the remote (To make sure try the horn on the bike, if it works without the key your bike is still on). Like you I also was frustrated to find nothing available like a manual other than that lousy one which isn't even giving in clear english that came with the bike. I may be looking to modify the engine /trans for speed/torque I don't know yet but trying to find parts that you know will fit is hard because they only sell this bike through dealers only.Something I won't be purchasing again unless I know I can get aftermarket parts for, although I suspect it is probally identical to most of the other bikes being sold excluding the big guns like vespa/piaggo'.My bike is a 2006 and should have identical running gear to the vx50, unless yours is a 4 stroke.
