Hi! My husband bought an adventurer scooter and recently the headlights/blinkers stopped working. The headlights will light up when the bike starts but while he is riding they will just go out. He drives it to work and he works 3rd shift so having working headlights is important. He bought a replacement bulb and that still didnt fix the problem! Anybody know of what we can do? The cost to take it to the shoppe is WAY to much for what this scooter is worth. Also, not to long ago he was riding the scooter on the road and all of a sudden the exhaust (I think that is what it is called, lol) just feel right off! He got some silvery steel stuff and cold welded it (I think that is what it is called) back on, but then recently it feel off again! Any suggestions for that. I need help! This scooter is so aggrevating! Any suggestions/help is much appreciated! Thanks~!

Oddly, it seems to be pretty common for these things to loose their exhausts; I think if your husband were to use some Lok-tite on all the bolts holding it on, it should help. As for the lights, break out the Sherlock Holmes hat and start hunting; sounds like you've just got a loose connection somewhere. Sometimes the pins in the connection blocks aren't pushed all the way in so check them all really good and be sure they're fully locked together.
Good Luck

It might sound a bit strange, but check your mirrors! Actually not too strange, on my scooter, the wires that connected the blinkers on the mirrors had a loose/bad connection and it caused the lights and blinkers to stop working. It happened when the mirrors folded a bit too far inward, so try wiggling those mirrors a bit first and see if that makes em come back on.
