Hi everyone!
I'm new here!
I am a life long motorcycle rider, on my 20th bike (an HD Electra Glide)
I bought my wife a scooter, a SUNL 150.. so far we both LOVE IT!!
I have seen SunL get some "hate" and I know there is a rep they have, I'm hoping ours does us well.. compared to the Zuma we rode last year we love this SunL
thanks and I'm glad to be here

Welcome to the pound LOK, hope that the SunL works out for you. It is almost sad the way that brand gets bashed, EVERYWHERE! I have never had any experience with a SunL, but I cannot imagine they are as bad as some say!
Oh well, I am sure you are mechanically inclined, have to be to ride Harleys, so you should have no difficutlies that you can't resolve!
Welcome again!

Thank you! I'm addicted already! I'm reading about the scooter and what I can do to it!

LOL, the best thing you can do "to it" is to RIDE it!! ;d Seriously, check out the thread on new scoot set up and other threads for the new folks, it is all very informative and if you follow the advice, you will avoid about 95% of the trouble folks have with new scooters, ChiCom scooters in particular! BTW, the is no cure for the addiction to the fun of two wheels and a motor!!

Welcome aboard. Really there's only two things wrong with SunL, one is spotty quality, its all a matter of who you import your scooter from, and they use a variety of manufacturers with price driving the selection, which creates the obvious problem. Second is support after the sale, SunL has a bad track record when it comes to supporting their dealers or customers sadly. Good news? Great price, and ifn you get the right model, good to very good quality. Bad news? Its hit or miss, get a bad one and you're in real trouble, although to some degree, Jim (Bandit Motorsports) is mitigating that.

thanks everyone! I'm glad to have found this place.. as I said I have been riding since I could walk basically and owned just about everything at some point. It's funny that this SUNL is SOOO cool to me! I'm so excited about it. I am really impressed with it so far. You can be sure one thing.. Ride it I will.. last couple years I have done about 30-50k a year on 2 wheels and that is not normally too much commuting.. just love to ride when I can! Just rode my Harley from DC to TX and what a ride it was! I probably would not have bought if it was just online, there was a dealer here and we talked to them quite a bit. The main mechanic is chinese and my wife is too so we could really communicate with someone that knows these things inside and out
