Welcome Lugh. I would think the Chiropractic then would put more money in the bank but the teaching certificate would certainly be easier. Both of them pay more than having some goofey scooter website. Thanks Lee! Yeah, Chiropractic should pay 2-3 times what a teaching job is likely to pay. But then getting through Chiropractic school is supposed to be comparable to going to med school 'course you've got more scooters than I have... But then, after I graduate, that might change! (maybe not, though, my lady has a real problem with having more than one vehicle per person!) Lugh

I'm a newbie here. I've been driving a bus for Developmental Services Center in Champaign, IL since Jan 03. I take developmentaly disabled to and from work. It's a great job. Before that I'd been delivering magazines to retailers for Chas Levy Circulating Company. I'd been doing that since 1985. I'm 40 years old and I've only had 2 jobs. Wonder what that means?

I run the office of a small manufacturing company. I LOVE my job. I have the best boss in the whole world. The "heavy" stuff like accounts payable, account receivable, and payroll are handled at our other office. I basically answer phones, process inbound and outbound loads, schedule shipments, do the paperwork for new-hires and terminations, etc. Some days are busy others not so much. Like I said, the boss is great......for awhile he would bring me books to read when I was bored! I actually got my 2-year accounting "diploma" from a technical college while I was working there. I did most of my homework while at work!! I was attending via their "distance education" program. I loved it!! I still have a student loan to pay off but after 22 years I finally got my degree!!

Ok, I've read through all the jobs posted so far and decided I want Jak's. I'm assuming pay is commensurate with experience?

If the demand on a product is to great we cant get them. I would like a bigger scooter but I'll wait until the tank dies.

Breathing fuel vapors don't count.

I'm kinda retired, however I do English Consulting at a large hospital in Taipei, Taiwan while my wife teaches 5th grade at the Taipei American School. Just started our 8th year here. Spend 2-3 months at our home in Nebraska every summer.
Although I have done many things during my adult life, I bore easily, I like to be remembered as a Professional Photographer as I have owned 3 Photography Studios.

Hey Pdaddy,
I wish I knew you worked for HP about a week ago maybe you could have helped me out. Just over a year ago I bought and HP fax. Last week the thing just crapped out. It was dead. So I call HP and they look up the serial number and tell me the unit it out of warranty by about 2 months. Figures. So I had to buy a new one. They did give me a slight discount though.

Congrats Javarod! I too have a career update. I've been working in IT for over 15 yrs & was never really quite satisfied & always wanted to work in the medical field. So, while working, I recently headed back to school to finish the requirements for the Nursing program. I just earned my Phlebotomy certification this summer & will begin a new job working for a local hospital next month. I hope to enter the nursing program soon while working as a Phlebotomist.
