I am retired after 37 years with a major telephone company. Now I do whatever my wife Debbie tells me to do. That's OK, After almost 42 years together I am used to it. Today she told me that she is kicking me out to go duck hunting, fishing, and camping for four days with some old friends. There is a definite benefit to doing what Debbie says. She wants to stay home and paint and who am I to stop her? We will be camped on Lake Okeechobee, about 80 miles from home. Some of the best duck hunting and pan fishing in the country. So you can say, that's what I do, I mean besides playing and working on anything with 2 or more wheels. I have worked long and hard to get where I am and I am going to enjoy it for as long as I can. I retired as a craft employee, not a manager.

I'm a 'B' level auto-repair/service technician... I went to a 4-year college but surprise! Luckily I had fixing cars to fall back on. It doesn't pay the greatest but the fringe benefits are great! I have practically no auto repair expenses (except the occasional part here or there), I can use the shop after hours all I want, and gravy 'fix-and-flip' cars fall into my lap now and then. Oh, and I have not bought a new car tire in 10 years. I have 4 vehicles... lol.
I've tried to convince my boss to let me start working on scooters at the shop, but I understand why he doesn't want to. I wish I could... I love these things. I should just move to PR (I know a little Spanish) or Europe (Holland!) and be a scooter mechanic... lol

:)I'm retired. New to scooters. Purchased a new Ice Bear Cyclone 150cc Trike a few weeks ago. Love it so far. Quite different from when I rode a 2 wheel Honda 450 back in the 60's. Only problem so far is a bent ignition key.

I spent 24 years in the Army. Became a certified master truck tech and a certified network engineer. I like working with my hands and playing with numbers. Now I sit on my butt all day just trying to live and rehabilitate my mind and body. I am 7 years post-stroke (multiple strokes). There are some things that no amount of rehab is going to fix but it teaches me how to get around those deficiencies.
The doctor ok'd me to drive a scooter and suspended me from heavy and cars.I have had to endure being housebound for the last 6 years and the scooter is a way to give back some independence. I am thankful for any day I can get away from the house, even if it is just a few minutes.

I used to teach English, English morphology, and English phonetics and phonology at the local state university campus. I now have my own school, where I teach ESL and, occasionally, Shakespeare.
I think that with everything I'm learning here and elsewhere, I might be able to start doing GY6 modifications on the side.
