Well, not exactly new, but new to me.
It is a white 2006 Burgman 650 with 3000 miles on it.
My first 300 miles were a bit stressful as I felt like I was learning to ride all over again. But now that I have regained a bit of my confidence I am really starting to enjoy the ride.
I am still taking it easy on the curves. The bike seems very willing to lean into them but because it is so much bigger and heavier than the Roketa I am still working up the nerve to trust that the wheels are not going to slide out from underneath me.
The temperature here has been in the 70's and 80's the last few days so I have had some great (unexpected) weather for riding.
I have had the scooter on the freeway a few times and the ride is very smooth and very stable. Plenty of power. I feel VERY comfortable riding on the freeway.
It's a great scooter!

Good for you Spazoo! I am so glad you are getting some quality time on your Burgman 650. Hope your wife is coming along OK in her healing process. I was never able to find the post on what happened with her accident. How do you stand with Valley Scooters now? Has your problem there been mitigated appreciably? Thanks for your various posts on the forum. I really enjoy the degree of detail you provide and it is good to receive good down to earth and unvarnished tips and information. I am happy for you also that you are having nice weather to ride your scoot. The weather here in the Atlanta area has been acceptable (50-low 60's) past few days but today it begins to get a bit warmer and into the 70's. So, yours truly will be out and about. Take it easy and hope all is settling down for you and your family now and you can enjoy yourself for quite awhile to come. Joe

Sounds like you have a great new ride. I am envious of your riding weather! Ice last weekend, snow this weekend.
Hope thing are going well with your better half and season greeting and best wishes to you and yours. And send a little of that warmth to Missouri!

Spazoo,
Wonderful you finally have a ride, and that is one great ride from all I have heard! I can imagine getting used to the sheer mass of the thing is a bit of an adventure! Considering the crud you had to wade through in the original attempt to be two wheel mobile, you deserve the best!! May you and all those you hold dear enjoy a wonderful Christmas! ;D
