Well, I am ashamed to admit it but I traded my Majesty for motorcycle. The main issue was my wifes comfort. I tried several modifications but could not come up with a satisfactory fix. It got down to the seat. When I showed here what was available and the price we both decided it was not a good thing to keep putting money into Majesty. I had great fun and learned a lot with our 1 year adventure into the wonderful world of scooters and hope I will still be welcome hear as both a reader and sometime contributor. On thing I did find when exploring for trunks and bags for the new bike was a place in California that sell some pretty nice Chines products. The web site is www.mutazu.com/. I ordered the DMY trunk with the wrap around backrest and the LN Saddlebags. For the money they look good and appear to well made. Here is the finished product. I have not finished the wiring yet but my wife loves the seat and backrest. Hopefully we will get to ride more together now that she is comfortable. Once again I hope all can forgive and let me remain for I have made some great friends here and learned much in my short stay. I can tell you now that I've explored sites for the V Star none compare to this one. This site by far has the nicest most helpful group that I have found.

Happy Holidays Monty, Nice looking bike. I'm sure you will always be welcome here. I think we all have gone through many different rides over the years. If your spouse is happy, that is a real biggie. Just enjoy the ride and be safe.

I just had the reverse with my wife. We just left the Harley dealer after using a gift certificate I had for some chrome for my Harley. As I was leaving I told my wife this may be my last trip for Harley parts as my next bike will be a V-Star Roadliner. Seems to blow away the Harley on everything but image. Having ridden Harley<s for years I can do without so much image in exchange for more quality. My wife says not for me.Scooters are the way to go.She rides a Heritage Softail and a Vino 125 but plans to move up to a bigger Sym scooter. Says she has way more fun on the scooters than the big bike.

I greatly appreciate all the positive comment. I have truly enjoyed my time with scoots and and I am still considering another 50cc as transportation around a couple of area we frequent. I already miss the storage on the Majesty as well as a bit warmer ride since it is getting cold around here but everything in life seems to have compromises.
I intend on staying around the dawg pound simply because I like the company and have learned a great deal.
Again thanks for good feedback and I will definitely be looking in!

Good looking bike!! I have been looking at used Honda CBR's as I'm pretty annoyed the Scoot is still out of commission (since end of Sept). I probably won't get one but it sure is tempting!!

NICE BIKE!! You have it dressed nicely!! Congratulations on a well and careful decision to go the cycle route! Nothing matters but the ride! Unlike a lot of forums, you are always welcome here. A lot of us have logged a lot of time on motorcycles, and some of us still have one or two in the stable.
Enjoy that pretty ride!

Again, thanks for all the positive words. I new I liked here. I have put about 350 on the Classic now but we had our first snow last night and this weekend is looking a little wet. Darn the bad luck. When you only have the weekend to ride bad weather sure cuts it down. Making a living is so over rated.

That bike is just plain ELEGANT, good looking and obviously very utilitarian!! I love it!

Well, I just noticed I have lost two Karma. I guess not everyone is willing to forgive my transgression back to motorcycles. I do miss my scooter and I am still thinking about a 50cc again for fun. I guess I better make up my mind soon or I won't have any Karmas left.

Well, that is a nice bike. Don't worry you'll be back with another scooter eventually.

Thanks, I do believe your right. There are lot of things I miss already. Mostly the storage space. Even with the addition of the trunk and bags on the V Star it falls a little short. The dash glove boxes where great for glasses, cell phones, wallets, insurance papers, etc.
I also enjoyed being a "shiftless cuss". I had gotten pretty used to the CVT system pretty quick and it's taking some practice to get back to the old clutch and gears.
