I'm new and will be riding a new 2008 red lance duke tomorrow. It only has 800 miles on it. Stay tuned , Marvin

I just bought a lance duke 250cc . Changed the oil. Used good 4 stroke Honda oil 10/40. Then I changed the gear oil, the other owner said you'll never need to change the gear oil. "Oh yeah", I said to myself knowingly. Upon draining it, it came out like really F"n old split-pea soup! I bet it was the orginial. Its only got 1000 mi on it. Now it's really smooth getting up to speed quicker. 80/90 weight. These bikes are great but you really have to examine and check everything. Once we do that the trust on the road begins.

found the electrical problem i was having! it was the cell phone icon antenna wire. its a pink wire hanging from up under the dash. it has a bare end with exposed wire. so take a word from the wise, if you have that icon on your dash, open it up and tape/cap it off. finally got a chance to ride it though, and i love it! it has alot of pep & its a real head turner as well. everything works like its supposed to, but like everybody else, the mirrors are a point of contection for me. . I have the duke as well. Today I took the dash apart and silenced the squeaky visor. Sure as S#*^T. I taped up the Pink wire as well for the cell. They just snipped it from factory. All fixed .
