I am seriously considering these scooters.
It sounds like the Daelim has more power for a 250, but does the power offset the comfort of the Commuter? I have heard the Daelim is not so comfortable! I don't have my Motorcycle license yet so I cant ride them to find out, sitting on them I like the Commuter better.
Does anyone have any advice on this or any other areas that I need to consider?
Thanks

I've never sat on a Commuter, so I can't compare. However I have sat for about 10,500km on an S2 250. I consider it to be quite comfortable. It's no secret that I'm very happy with my scooter, and that hindsight would not have changed my decision to buy it.
I commute every work day that's above the mid 30's in temperature on mine, 25-30 minute ride. I've taken it on a number of rides in excess of 1.5 hours. I'm 6'2" tall, with a 34" inseam, so I'm not a small guy. I've never felt cramped or fatigued after a ride.
The Commuter may have more room to stretch the legs (I don't know for sure, but it looks possible), and a person may prefer the different riding position more than the S2's more upright position. However, characterizing an S2 as "not so comfortable" is something with which I would not be in agreement.

You really need to sit on both and decide which one fits you best. I would wager that the Daelim will be more reliable in the long run as it has a KYMCO engine and drive train. And IMO, the Daelim looks nicer. Whats the price of the Qlink?

I own the Cf Moto and have had the opportunity to ride the S2. Comfort.....is in the butt of the beholder! ;D Both scoots are comfortable in their own way. I think you would adapt to either. Reliability might sway the decision in favor of the Daelim(however I have heard some dealer rumblings that it's hard to get reimbursed for warrenty work.)I have no real issues with my CF Moto as far as fit, finish , or functionability. Pricing might sway the decision in favor of the CF Moto. Bandit Jims delivers the 250 CF Moto for something like $2800; whereas most Daelim dealers are getting MSRP for the S2...somewhere in the area of $4200.

Howdy,
Wantascooter: At the risk of cheering for my own bike, I'd pick the Daelim. I've got the 125cc version of this bike and love it so far. The seat is plenty comfortable. Daelim has earned a reputation for reliability, based on my research. Good luck!
