I washed my bike last weekend and afterward it would not start. So I left it at work In front of the big fan heater, and on Monday morning it started first click. Then on the way home I noticed it was running really lumpy at most throttle positions! Now today on my way to work it gradually lost power and cut out twice on a 3 mile run but did start again and spluttered my way to work slowly! I have now took the carb off and drained it and checked the jets and have also checked the diaphragm for holes which there are non, but I cannot get te diaphragm back on... It just seems to big and swollen!! Could this be the cause of my issues?? Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks

Did you expose the diaphragm to any cleaning chemicals?
Remove the diaphragm and let sit for 24hrs and the rubber should shrink or just replace it with a new one. Drain your gas tank and add some fresh petrol. Good luck and keep us posted.

I've managed to get the diaphragm back in but it's still running sh!te. Will have to wait until next week now as I'm off home to have a few beers.
