whats needed to de-restrict a ????

Hi to all hope all is well,
I'm trying to figure out all the steps to De-Restrict a KYMCO Super 8 2t 2011 previous owner said he changed the jet and variable spacer. I was wondering if the exhaust was restricted. Would appreciate any Info.

Check your CDI and see if it has 8 wires going to the CDI, if so look for two Violet or pinkish wires usually two from the right side one above the other. If it has them your CDI is restricted limiting your rpms.
