Hey guys im new to scooter upgrading so i'm still learning.
So i just installed a 80cc bore kit to my 50cc gy6 scooter.I took it for a test run after it was warmed up,And i noticed it bogs down at takeoff and wide open throttle. I did not change any other parts so i wanted some tips on what else i should change. I've been hearing i needed to up jet it,change air filter,exhaust.
But my main question is what is really needed to stop the bogging?
And also could it be my timing? before i put it all back together i looked at the timing and i think it was off by one tooth,but wasnt too sure.Is it bad if it is?

did you change the jet in the carb?

cam should be lined up like this I think it was slightly over by like 1 tooth. Could that be a problem?

You need to put in a larger main jet scoots often come with jets too small from the factory and when you installed the kit its running lean, if you was a tooth off on the cam it would be hard to start or not start at all and if it does it will run way slow, slower than when it was stock.

The list is endless, you can get an a9 cam, performance exhaust, gear up set, open air filter, performance clutch, variator, dr pulley sliders, bando or gates belt, performance clutch and torque springs, big valve head, performance cdi and coil. I have all the above. ;D
