Hey friends, new to this here ScootDawg. Back in June, I was riding my 150 Roketa scooter on the street when it just stopped accelerating and the engine stopped working. I safely exited traffic to find that my scooter wouldn't start. And it hasn't since that day...
I took it into my room (i'm a college student) and began looking at it. Had gas, oil, everything was good on it. However, it won't turnover, although the battery still works. When I looked at the spark plug, it was severed which leads me to believe that the other half is inside my engine. I have no real experience or knowledge with anything mechanical, but I'm guessing I need a new engine.
Any thoughts on where to begin? The scooter has since been moved to a shed at a friends house where it sits. I'd like to either try and put a new engine into it, or sell it as it is; especially since it's relatively new.
Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thank so much!

if the plug is broken inside the head then all you need is a new top end.

Bad advice, you need a lot of experience (not to mention special tools) to be swapping engines, from the sound of things chances are your problem is simple anyway, try pulling what is left of that spark plug, usually it's just the ceramic piece that breaks off and the steel stud is still there you can pull it out and stick another one in, you'll need a (correct size) spark plug socket.
And you could try and sell it, but you'll get a lot more dollar for it if it's running. Pull the seat bucket out to get a better look at the plug.
