CONGRATS!!
But oh, honey, now the hardest part happens--waiting for that shoulder to finish healing so you can retake the MSF class and RIDERIDERIDE!!!!
Every time you go out to the garage, you're gonna' be eyein' that shiny new-to-you scoot. And every time it'll be harder than before to resist just riding it anyways, regardless of shoulder and license etc.
HEAL FAST, danno!!
Oh, and post us some pics!

I almost want to store it in my nephews garage so I don't have to deal with the temptation of wanting to ride it. On the other hand, it is teaching me patience

On the other hand, it is teaching me patience Ah, yes. "Patience, Grasshopper." That, and PICTURES! You better be taking your camera along with when you go pick it up. And take pictures when you get it out on the driveway. And going up into the trailer. And on the trailer. And in your own driveway. Or your neph's. Whichever. And you sitting on the seat making putt-putt-putt noises. Adorable pink jacket not required this once. >'Kat

Totally LOL!! Just remember to make those putt-putt-putt sounds. Then you won't be issued a ticket. It's all okay if you make the sounds. Only illegal if you're not. Or if you're standing on the floorboard yelling I'm king of the world! Utterly adorable pink jacket still optional. Actually, send the pic of the trooper's face as you pass him. That'll be better than his face pulling you over. >'Kat

Ooo--that's a cute one, too. In fact, it's cute enough to wear all over the place, not just riding.
A-DOR-A-BLE!!!!
That and the putt-putt sounds will DEFINITELY keep you from getting a ticket. Free ride to the happy home, maybe, where life is beautiful every day....

Ok then. He'll have to lift the back end of the scoot with his forearms so that the word "Burgman" is permanently branded on, proving that he is a priest of the Scootdawg temple. LOL! ;D

My wife tells me most women think men who wear pink are self-confident, those who don't have a lack confidence and usually can be found playing the violin wearing a silly hat!

spandi--PERFECT!
scootn'--she won't leave 'cause she'll be wanting to wear that darling pink jacket whenever danno isn't.
danno--now I adore your wife. "playing the violin"--wonderful. Some day when I visit my bro and his family, we'll all have to get together and meet. Like at Panera's. Or some distinctly Houston-y place. Then you can shove up the sleeves of that darling pink jacket and show me your Burgman brands, while your wife makes other pithy comments about the men around us.

I don't care who you are that's funny. It may be ok to wear pink but that jacket takes it to a whole different level. When you are sharing clothing with your wife something is very wrong...

I thought the whole idea about riding a scooter was to get away from the manly, tough guy image that motorcycle guys like to portray?

No, I did.
My sis'in-law wears my brother's sweatshirts. Doesn't seem wrong to me...well, not like that, I mean. It's wrong 'cause she doesn't always let him have them back to wear.

Uhm no its about being a smart man, economy and convenience.
OFFICIAL WARNING If you wear that jacket be ready for the consequences. Take a stick with you to beat all the prospective "suitors" down. My bet is the VAST majority of them will not be female. That jacket sends a message all right and I don't think you will be happy with the reply...

Just curious did wife see the jacket or did you just ask a general can men wear pink question? Also does she get a kick out of your public humiliation?
I just checked with my wife and I am not allowed to wear that pink jacket. Actually I asked her if she would leave me if I wore it and she said yes... well maybe not... I won't be seen with you while you wear it... I stopped her there.

scootn', now go ask her if she wouldn't love wearing that pink jacket. And ask yourself--wouldn't you love seeing her wear it?
Adorable, I tell you.

I thought the whole idea about riding a scooter was to get away from the manly, tough guy image that motorcycle guys like to portray? Are you aware that Harley Davidson made motor scooters at one time? Back in the 1950's when guys who had survived both the Great Depression and World War Two didn't need to prove how tough they were by buying things.
