I've been trolling around while working on my scoot. Just thought I would share my progress. After I got it. Painted it flat black and stretched it 4" Then striped it and stretched 16" Traded the engine for a complete 125cc scoot that ran. And now this is what it looks like now.

I screwed the pooch big time. I was changing the motor mount bushings and broke off one of the mounts from the case. Say a prayer for JB Weld

big socket for the bushing to be pressed into on one side and a socket the same O.D. on the other with a bolt, washers and nut to press the bushing out is how I pressed mine out and put the new one in without any damage.

While I'm waiting on the new engine, I decided to fab a gas tank. I found an old fire extinguisher and cut up the old gas tank. A few more cuts, welds and some JB Weld and this is what I came up with.
