hey guys, after reading up on some similar issues believe that my cylinder base gasket is leaking. what I want to know is what would it take for me to fix/replace parts. is this something that an amateur/intermediate with the right instructions could fix or am I better off with a mechanic (hard to come by in Las Vegas for 300cc bikes). any help would be greatly appreciated. so far as a temp fix I have used some sealant on the outside. the bike only leaks after running. and if anyone has a guide (with pics would be nice) on how to fix this that would be awesome! Sure looks like that is where the leak is. Here is a link to manual we use www.rapidrepairpowersports.com/Yamaha%20YP250.htmlAll you will need is a top end gasket it. Make sure you change the head gasket. It is not a difficult job if you are mechanically inclinded. If you can not find the gaskets locally I can get them for you. Jim/Owner Rapid Repair

thanks jim!
what would the gaskets run me? I want to make sure I don't get ripped off locally (vegas scooter shops don't have the best of reputations), If I cant find any out here I will get in touch with you for the parts.
