62 years old and can't get motorcycles from my mind. Looking at a 250 cc Chinese brand. Looking for some insights into quality.

How mechanically inclined are you? If you are, it will keep you busy. If your not, it will keep you coming back here asking..."How do i fix this or that?
Ask lots of questions before you make any commitments

I knew not much of how to fix bikes. I had worked on my electric moped somewhat, but never on a scooter. I did not know how to do a CVT oil change (engine I knew); and I still haven't needed to know how to do a valve adjustment, or changing brake pads.
There is lots of good and bad talk of the Roketa MB54 and MC54. 1- They're cheap 2- They may need some wrenching.
But they sure are popular with many, and some are very happy with them!
I personally prefer a 150cc scoot. About the biggest you can fix by yourself. If you don't have a buddy to help you uncrate the scoot, stay with a 150, or be prepared to be home a week with back pain, because these things sure are heavy!
