2009 Piaggio / Gilera MP3 500ie!, Watch my video, and pictures.
Asking $6500 or Best Offer
I am in Westchester County, NY 1hr. north of the city.
This is not a scam, not a salvage, no shadyness just a sweet scooter.
Do not offer me $5000. I will not respond to low ball offers.
Serious buyers only, no tire kickers, no test rides unless your ready to buy.
This is my MP3 500, it now has 3010 miles on it.
I bought it with just under 500 miles. I had the first service done by a Piaggio dealer.
Update: Did a oil and filter change at 3000, mark. Its ready to roll.
Watch my video walk around:
If interested contact me with your info and any questions.
It runs perfectly. Tires are great, will need oil change soon.
This scoot is a ton of fun. I had the MP3 250 before this and I will say that was good but this is much better.
I added a few safety items, Reflective wheel tape, LED running/turn lights on side instead of the stock reflectors.
There are red LEDs that light up the floor board area.
The metal floor boards are powder coated black.
It has normal wear on it, I do use it to ride to work every once in a while. Milage will change a little.
I have paper work, clean title, Black and red keys.
These scoots are getting harder and harder to find.Truely a unique bike.
I really love this scoot, but I've been looking into some regular motos.
Unlike the popular three-wheeled Can Am Spyder, which is much like a snowmobile
for the street, this machine handles like any other two-wheeled vehicle. The
front wheels tilt and lean! The bike handles just like any
motorcycle or scooter, with no special riding skills needed.
Because there are two wheels in front, the stability of the front end exceeds any two-
wheeler. I have gone over bumps, dips, and railroad tracks in steep leans, and
the front end's suspension simply eats it up, making rugged turns at speed I
wouldn't consider on a regular scooter or motorcycle.
In addition, the bike has a special system that locks the front wheels, allowing
you to park on lateral inclines. Not only that, but if you get good at it, you
can activate the front wheel locks just as you come to a stop at a stoplight -
and refrain from putting your feet down!
Low speed handling is truly impressive as well.
When parking just get close, lock the front wheels, get off and push the scoot
wherever you want. Very handy. as for storage, big but not huge.
I can fit some helmets in there. I have put my shopping goods in with no issues.
Power delivery is what you would expect from a small motorcycle at 500cc. (In
fact, the bike is considered a motorcycle by the DOT). Twist the throttle and
GO. The MP3 is at home on the freeway and belongs in the passing lane.
The Piaggio MP3 500, with aggressive styling and performance, is the three-
wheeler for people who want to stand out. Riding has never been this easy,
enjoyable, secure and fast. When you take 20% less braking distance required and
pair it with a lean angle of 40-degrees, you get a perfect machine machine for
impeccable road holding in all riding conditions.
Max. Speed: 89 mph
Gas Mileage: 55-57 mpg
Displacement: 492.7 cc
Gas Tank: 3.2 gallons
Seat Height: 30.9"
MSRP: $8899
